School Rules

1. Students who are Singapore Citizens must sing the National Anthem and take the Pledge. Students will take the Pledge with the right fist over the heart.

1. Students are to wear the prescribed school uniform and modification to the uniform is not allowed.

2. PE T-shirt and shorts are only meant for PE and games.

3. Students entering the school premises outside curriculum time are to be in proper school uniform.

4. Students are to wear all black shoes and black socks.

5. Students are allowed to bring appropriate footwear to change into during PE and Sport CCA training sessions for safety reasons.

6. Ankle socks are not allowed. Socks should not show any brand or design.

1. Students are to attend school punctually and regularly. They are expected to be in school by 7:30am.

2. Latecomers who enter the school after the gate is closed must report to the General Office.

3. Students must submit medical certificates for absence, especially on days of test/examinations.

4. Students are to remain within the school premises during school hours, including afternoon school activities.

5. Students must avoid being absent from school before school holidays begin.

1. Students are not allowed to leave the school during school hours unless fetched by Parent or Guardian.

2. Parents must report to General Office upon reaching the school and complete a form before taking the student home.

1. Students are not allowed to have in their possession any weapon. They are also not allowed to bring any weapon-like item which is intended to be used to cause harm to others.

2. Students should play at the designated areas. Playtime is limited to the first 15 mins of recess.

3. Students should not walk across the carpark and play near the bus bays.

4. Students who plan to cycle to school must submit their Parent/Guardian acknowledgement form to the General Office.

5. Students are not allowed to remain in the classroom during recess or after school dismissal unless supervised by a teacher.

6. Students should be seated and put on their safety belts when they are on the school bus.

7. Students are not allowed to bring sharp items such as pen knives to school. P1 and P2 students are not allowed to bring scissors. Scissors will be provided if teachers need to use them in class.

8. Students should not bring any personal sports equipment to school.

1. Students must uphold the good name of the school at all times and at all places.

2. Students are to be gracious to one another and greet teachers and visitors.

3. Students are to take good care of their own belongings and all school property.

4. Students are to be attentive in class and do their best at all times.

Boys

1. Tinted or dyed hair is not allowed.

2. Only short and neat hairstyle for boys.

3. Hair length must not touch the shirt collar, ears and eyebrows.

4. Males being clean-shaven e.g. All male students must be clean shaven at all times. Moustache and beards are not allowed.

Girls

1. Tinted or dyed hair is not allowed.

2. Only simple hairstyle for girls.

3. Short hair - Hair length must be above collar.

4. Long hair - Hair must be neatly tied-up or plaited with black rubber bands or scrunchies.

5. Girls with long fringes must use black hairbands or black hair clips to pin up their fringes.

Fingernails

1. Students are not allowed to apply nail polish.

2. Fingernails are to be kept short and clean at all times.

Accessories

1. Girls can only wear small plain gold or silver ear studs.

2. Boys are not allowed to wear earrings or ear studs.

3. Students are not allowed to wear jewellery (genuine or fake) in school.

4. No henna painting and tattoos are allowed.

5. No fanciful and colourful spectacle frames. Only simple solid coloured frames are allowed.
